  I've only been to this location once since it's been open. I live a block away but, I don't know, something about buying fast food in Mount Vernon is not high up on my to-do list.
  
  The place wasn't what I would consider clean,  but it was definitely better than I expected. The wait time was reasonable, and cashiers friendly. I think I've been to any Popeyes location a whopping three times maybe, so I'm not one to ask how the food at this location matches up to other Popeyes. The biscuits were pretty good, fresh and not too dry. I ordered chicken fingers/strips to go with it, but I could barley find any actual chicken in these "chicken" strips!! It was all fried breading and completely inedible, unless you like that sort of thing. I'm in no rush to return to Popeyes.

  Smh they wanted to be like chick-fil-A so bad and produced this gross chicken sandwich. Yuck! What was everyone raving about? All hype and pure disappointment. Extra crispy with no actual chicken. Felt like I ordered dry chicken skins. They didn't even put a pickle inside and the bun was drier than their biscuits. I also ordered the $5 box (which is not actually to $6.49) with white meat only to be given dark meat. I called to complain and requested a manager the shift leader answered saying I could speak to him. After telling him my experience he told he to come in on a day a manager is in to get a free piece of chicken. What??? Ridiculous spending almost $20 in total for my order which the only correct item was my soda which I don't even drink but they had no juice and multiple beverage options were not available.  
  
  Sadly, I also have to point out the young teenage female employee who touched a customers food with her bare fingers to put fries inside a box that were falling out. Can someone please shout OSHA!!

  Sent my son to the location on 7/29/19 to purchase their current $5 Buttermilk Shrimp promotion and a peanut butter banana pie. My son was told by the staff that they were currently out of both items. How do you not have stock on current promotional items? I won't frequent this location again.

  Arrived around 730pm Wednesday night 3/6/2019. About 5 people were ahead of us. There was an older woman arguing with the employee at the register stating she was still waiting for her drink. He was very flippant but eventually produced a drink. I'm assuming he was a manager as he was the only employee with a burgundy colored shirt. I approached the register and asked if all the chicken on the menu was fried. He rudely replied "yes all the chicken is fried. This Popeyes".  After a long blank stare I decided it wasn't worth it to argue. Aside from his obnoxious assumption I didn't know where I was, I have also eaten the naked chicken strips several times in the past. I didn't not see that option on the menu but decided to ask. Guess I will take my assumptions to KFC next time.

  This place has the worst customer service. It was my first time here and the last. I do not recommend this location to anyone. Employees were working without gloves or hairnets and cashier was sucking his teeth and rushing me to finish my order.
  Food was bad, worst Popeyes I have ever gone to or ordered from.
